JUST WHO ARE THESE DAYLIGHT TITANS?



A POST-PUNK POWER-POP JUGGERNAUT!

Our manifesto: There is a broad, endlessly varied spectrum of sound in rock music ranging roughly from impossibly fast and ear-splittingly loud on one end to delicate melody on the other. Somewhere in the middle lies the point where the right tune finds the right power supply to create the primal exhilaration of perfectly blended energy and tune. Our goal is to find this perfect match and enjoy ourselves in the process.

THE ESSENTIAL FACTS:

The name of the band: THE DAYLIGHT TITANS (but you probably guessed that already)
Residence: Austin, Texas

Brief history: We began rehearsing in August 2002 and have been playing in public as The Daylight Titans since January 2003. Our current lineup has been in place since July 2005. We released our self-titled full-length debut CD on Austin's Deep Eddy Records in October 2005.

Previous to that, we released two four-song EPs and appeared on a UK label compilation featuring artists from 12 countries and 5 continents. Additionally, our song "Dangle" was used in the UPN television show "Veronica Mars" in April 2005."

Our song "High" will be appearing on Volumes, a various artists' compilation to be released Heyday Records sometime during 2007.
